Features

CCC Cruise alongside CCC Tobermory Race Part 1 (Rothesay to Ardrishaig)

Cruise through the Kyles of Bute, Loch Fyne, Loch Gilp to Ardrishaig

Transit Crinan Canal Cruising boats and racing boats will be locked into the canal at Ardrishaig in order of arrival/finish.

Crinan to Ardfern

Itinerary

Day 1: 16th July

Rothesay to Ardrishaig (29M)

Race fleet will start c. 0700hrs (TBC) - Cruising boats should avoid the start line off Isle of Bute SC in Rothesay Bay

Passage via Kyles of Bute

Cruising participants may join at any point of the passage to Ardrishaig.

Commence transit of canal if practicable

Cruisers arrange own evening Day 1

Day 2:

Complete Transit Crinan Canal (8M)

Crinan to Ardfern (7M)

"Do your own thing" at Ardfern (but see notes in part 2, on early start next day due to tide times)

Notes

  • At the time of writing, there are no pontoons in Outer Rothesay Harbour and plans for 2022 installation are not clear. The inner harbour is working as normal.
  • The Crinan Canal are offering 10% discount on Tobermory race boats.
