Booking to race in Scottish Series
This page is about how to book an entry for the Scottish Series (incorporating the IRC Scottish Championships).
Before you start, make sure you have all the following information:
- Name of Owner/skipper
- Vessel Details: Name of Vessel; Sail Number; Type of Vessel; Colour of Hull; Length overall; Handicap system (IRC/CYCA) and handicap;
- Your anticipated class;
- Contact details (email, mobile No etc);
- Anticipated number of crew.
If you are a CCC member, much of your information is likely already in the system. Check you answer all questions asked.
If you are not a member, but entered a CCC event previously, you might already have a log in name etc, so log in and enter
If you are not a CCC member and not used this system before, register first. Just follow the directions to Log in, and click "create an account".
To enter Scottish Series 2023
Once you are Logged in you can Click Here or follow the instructions below:
- On the CCC website (this one you're on), click "book online"
- A range of booking types comes up, select "Regatta"
- Then select "Scottish Series 2023"
Select your "ticket type" - according to what you're entering. You can enter the whole series, or individual races, and in the series in any of three vessel sizes, <30ft; 30-39ft, and >39ft.
You can also book White Sail or Two Handed Racing - that's any size vessel.
Note that when asked your "anticipated class", put what you think is appropriate. The RO will decide class splits when entry numbers are known, but will start from an assumption that you know where you should be and work from there.
Bangor NI to Tarbert Race
The Bangor to Tarbert Feeder Race has been included in the Notice of Race V 2.0. This has a separate entry available here
Entry List
You can follow the entry list by returning to the entry form where a list of entries can be accessed for each ticket type. The list of entries will be published here and updated every few days.
