The Club
The Clyde Cruising Club (CCC) supports cruising not just on the Clyde but on all the West Coast and the Northern Isles of Scotland.
The well-renowned CCC Sailing Directions are acknowledged by many to enhance enjoyment of and safety in one of the finest cruising grounds in the world.
For boats cruising these waters, the Club runs Musters and Races some of which combine into series across the whole season.
The Club facilities at Bardowie Loch provide one of the premier training facilities for dinghy and powerboat activities in Scotland. The proximity to Glasgow and the shelter of the loch have enabled many to learn, and then to race in dinghies.
And when ready, many move on to crew on keelboats and may take part in Scottish Series, the largest keelboat event currently within Scotland and which often forms the framework for the IRC Scottish Championships. When not on the water the Clyde Cruising Club also offers Winter Meets where renowned sailors can share their knowledge with Club Members. It is a Club! Clubs have been defined as being the opportunities for like-minded people to share mutual activities. With the breadth of activities, geographical spread and our considerable membership, Clyde Cruising Club can claim to be "at the heart of Scottish sailing.
