Free Sailing

Free Sailing Sessions run every week-day evening, 18:30 to dusk, and weekend afternoon, 13:30 to 16:00.

A Steward will open up the Club and get out a powerboat to keep an eye on sailors. Note that Stewards do not provide a Safety Boat, but they will come and give you a tow back from the far end of the Loch if the wind dies.

All members who have gained the RYA Level 2 / Junior Stage 3 are welcome for any free sailing sessions. Just come down to Bardowie and say hello to the steward, then just chose your boat, rig it and get on the water. If you do not have the RYA qualification, we organize training sessions; alternatively if you can sail, but do not have the certificate, our instructor team can organize an assessment - just drop an email to arrange.
