Summer School Week 2

This course is designed for those who have never sailed before and are keen to get into the sport. During the course we work through the YSS Stage 1 syllabus. We have a team of dedicated instructors who will help you get out on the water and start your sailing experience.

RYA TRAINING COURSES ARE PROGRESSIVE AND AS SUCH ARE DESIGNED FOR LEARNING TO SAIL AND IMPROVING SAILING SKILLS. CERTIFICATES WILL ONLY BE AWARDED WHEN THE INSTRUCTORS ARE SATISFIED THAT ALL ELEMENTS CAN BE DEMONSTRATED TO THE STANDARD APPROVED FOR EACH STAGE

This course is a continuation on of the Youth Improver course allowing students who have attained their Stage 1 or 2 looking to achieve their YSS Stage 2 or 3.

The advanced youth course is designed for those who have achieved or looking to achieve their YSS Stage 4 and are confident on the water and in their boat handling to further improve their skill and gain one of the advanced modules or their stage 4 module. The advanced module will be decided upon on the first session and will be the module with the largest demand.

This will be a group dedicated to our adult students. We will divide the group on the first day into differing abilities, but we ask that you state your sailing experience and any qualifications held below.
