Cruising event aligned with CCC Closing Muster Race

Cruise from Rothesay Bay, via the Kyles of Bute to Tarbert.

Cruisers may join the cruising fleet at any point including passage south around Garroch Head.

Itinerary

Day 0: Friday 23rd September

Tradition has it that the "pre-muster" kicks off on Friday evening in the Black Bull Rothesay

oPlease see the note below regarding restricted berthing in Rothesay Harbour at the time of writing,

Day 1: Saturday 24th September

Racing fleet will start c. 0930 ~ 1000hrs off the Isle of Bute SC West Side Rothesay Bay. Cruising boats should endeavour to keep clear of the start line at this time.

Commencing c. 0900hrs from Rothesay, proceed West through the Kyles of Bute, Ardlamont Point (S), Loch Fyne and East Loch Tarbert

Participants make own way home

Notes:

At the time of writing, there are no pontoons in Rothesay outer Harbour. A request has been made to ascertain the plans for installation of the new pontoons for 2022.
