CCC Opening Muster 2024
Race from Kip to Rhu with Dinner & the RNCYC
Nine boats in two classes raced from Kip in very light winds 4/5 Knots but dry and Sunny. Race officer Robin Young after starting the race shadowed the fleet and finished us at Gourock Yacht Club ensuring we all finished. Well done to Class2 winners Autism on the water-Murray MacDonald with their first sail on their new boat and Class 3 winners Clive & Flora Reeves on Lyrebird. Members of both CCC and RNCYC assembled at the RNCYC clubhouse in the evening and enjoyed a super meal and great to catch up with all the members after a long winter.
At the dinner £145 was raised for the Helensburgh Lifeboat
