Don McPherson, Captain of the Dinghy Section, passed away on Friday 10 May 2024. Don had suffered latterly from pulmonary fibrosis. His funeral took place on Wednesday 29 May in Bishopriggs and was well attended, not least by members of the Clyde Cruising Club.

Our sympathies go to his wife Helen, and daughters Emily and Lucy. It was his daughters learning to sail that brought Don to the Club and ultimately to his role as Dinghy Captain. He will be much missed.
